HERE + HELD BREATHWORK WAIVER

-- The Invitation --
Breathwork is a powerful modality that opens doors to deep physical, emotional, and energetic landscapes. By entering this practice, you are choosing to navigate your inner world through the power of your own breath. To ensure you are held safely during this experience, please read and acknowledge the following.
-- Medical Considerations --
This practice is not recommended for individuals with the following conditions:
Cardiovascular Issues
High blood pressure (uncontrolled), history of heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular surgery.
Neurological Concerns
Epilepsy or history of seizures.
Ocular Health
Glaucoma or retinal detachment.
Structural Health
Osteoporosis or recent major physical injury/surgery.
Psychological Status
A history of severe psychiatric symptoms, including psychosis or schizophrenia, or if you are currently in a "spiritual emergency."
Pregnancy
If you are currently pregnant.
-- Inherent Physicality --
During the session, you may experience "Tetany" (temporary cramping or tingling in the hands and feet), dizziness, or intense emotional release. These are common physiological responses to the shift in carbon dioxide levels and are generally considered safe, but you are the primary steward of your body. If at any point you feel unsafe, you agree to slow your breath or stop.
-- Personal Sovereignty & Responsibility --
Not Medical Advice: I understand that Joselyn Hughes is a Breathwork Facilitator and not a licensed physician or psychotherapist. This session is for personal growth and does not replace medical or mental health treatment.
--Voluntary Participation --
I am participating voluntarily and assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with this practice.
--Release of Liability --
I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, hereby release Joselyn Hughes and Good Yob, Inc. (and its brand, Here and Held) from any and all claims or liabilities resulting from my participation.

WELCOME

The first time I tried breathwork, I experienced a level of clarity that years of therapy hadn’t yet unlocked.I sat up after that first session and thought, "I need to be doing this every day of my life!"The more I practiced, the more breakthroughs I had, the more grounded I felt, the more I wanted everyone around me to experience these profound shifts too. There are so many ways to work on ourselves but I truly believe breathwork is one of the most, if not the most powerful modality available to reduce stress, release stored trauma, and restore the nervous system: rooting you firmly in the here and now.Experiencing this healing power in my own life sparked a deep desire to share it with as many people as possible. That is why I created Here + Held. This practice is built on two fundamental truths I discover every time I breathe:HERE
Breath forces you to exist entirely in the present. It pulls you out of the noise of the past and the anxiety of the future, grounding you in the clarity of the now.
HELD
By clearing trauma from the body, breathwork unlocks a profound sense of safety. It allows you to remember that you are deeply supported by a Universe that has your back.

ABOUT ME

picture of Joselyn Hughes

I am here for anyone curious enough to look within. I bring my intuition, authenticity, and undivided presence to every session.By integrating rhythmic breathwork and body-based awareness, we safely navigate your inner landscape together -- moving you out of survival mode and into a space of profound peace and alignment. The containers I facilitate are built on the deep, transformative methodologies of David Elliott’s breathwork, balanced with the tender, heart-centered medicine of Carly Jo Carson’s Mirror Journey.Together, these practices allow me to hold a space for you that is both deeply activating and beautifully nurturing.I know in my core that the breath is the quickest path to self-love, unshakable presence, and the cellular knowing that you are always, truly HERE + HELD.

What you can Expect from a Session with Me:

We start with a grounded check-in followed by a brief meditation to anchor ourselves. The core of the work is ~40 minutes of an active, three-part somatic breathwork done lying down. It’s a deep, continuous mouth-breath designed to move stagnant energy, bypass the analytical mind, and drop you straight into the body.I curate every session with intentional soundtracks that act as a container for whatever you are working through. This is a safe space for you to express whatever needs to be expressed - without judgement. I am here to help you find your way, no matter how you need to get there. We close with around ten minutes of integration. No experience required.
