HERE + HELD BREATHWORK WAIVER
-- The Invitation --
Breathwork is a powerful modality that opens doors to deep physical, emotional, and energetic landscapes. By entering this practice, you are choosing to navigate your inner world through the power of your own breath. To ensure you are held safely during this experience, please read and acknowledge the following.-- Medical Considerations --
This practice is not recommended for individuals with the following conditions:--Cardiovascular Issues --
High blood pressure (uncontrolled), history of heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular surgery.--Neurological Concerns --
Epilepsy or history of seizures.--Ocular Health --
Glaucoma or retinal detachment.--Structural Health --
Osteoporosis or recent major physical injury/surgery.--Psychological Status --
A history of severe psychiatric symptoms, including psychosis or schizophrenia, or if you are currently in a "spiritual emergency."--Pregnancy --
If you are currently pregnant.-- Inherent Physicality --
During the session, you may experience "Tetany" (temporary cramping or tingling in the hands and feet), dizziness, or intense emotional release. These are common physiological responses to the shift in carbon dioxide levels and are generally considered safe, but you are the primary steward of your body. If at any point you feel unsafe, you agree to slow your breath or stop.-- Personal Sovereignty & Responsibility --

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Joselyn.I create space for anyone curious enough to look within—bringing my intuition, authenticity, and undivided presence to every session.Balancing a career in the entertainment industry with my own personal growth has taught me firsthand the necessity of finding quiet within the noise. As a fully certified facilitator in both David Elliott’s breathwork healer training and Carly Jo Carson’s Mirror Journey, I anchor my containers in a balance of deep transformation and tender, reflective integration. By pairing these two approaches, I hold space that is both deeply activating and beautifully nurturing.
WHY HERE + HELD
While navigating life's heavy transitions, I found myself looking for a deeper way through. Someone suggested breathwork. So I went. And in the first session, I experienced a level of clarity that years of therapy hadn’t yet unlocked. It blew my mind.I sat up afterwards and thought, "I need to be doing this every day of my life!"The more I practiced ...the more breakthroughs I had ...and the more grounded I felt. There are so many ways to work on ourselves, but I truly believe breathwork is one of the most powerful modalities to release stored trauma, reduce stress, find creative inspiration, and restore the nervous system.Accessing this healing in my own life sparked a deep desire to share it with others. That is why I created Here + Held: a practice built on two fundamental truths I rediscover every time I breathe...HERE: The breath forces you to exist entirely in the present. It pulls you out of the noise of the past and the anxiety of the future, grounding you in the clarity of the now.HELD: By clearing stored energy and trauma from the body, breathwork unlocks a profound sense of internal safety—reminding you that you are deeply supported.I feel strongly that the breath is the quickest path to self-love, unshakable presence, and the cellular knowing that you are always truly HERE + HELD.
What you can Expect from a Session with Me:
The Arrival: We begin with a grounded check-in and a brief meditation to help you settle in and anchor yourself. The Breath: ~40 minutes of an active, three-part somatic breathwork practice done lying down. This deep, continuous mouth-breath is designed to move stagnant energy, bypass the analytical mind, and drop you straight into the body. The Integration: We close with around 10 minutes of gentle rest to let the experience settle.Every session is paired with an intentionally curated soundtrack to support whatever you are working through. This is a safe, non-judgmental space to express whatever needs to be expressed. I am here to support you every step of the way.No prior breathwork experience required.
